Analyze. Visualize. Capitalize.

You know who you are. You know what you have to offer. You know what makes you unique. But in today's flourish-or-perish business climate, is that enough? Without a focused plan of action and healthy infusion of know-how, even the best and brightest idea companies can die on the vine, or worse, bear fruit that never makes it to the marketplace.

Sure, you're the best at what you do, but is your business lean, healthy and moving forward? Is your message reaching the eyes, ears and wallets of the clients you want to attract and continue to do business with for years to come? If you think it's time for the expert to seek expert advice about taking your business to the next level, then you’ve come to the right place.

One Act of Kindness can Inspire an Entire Community.

We believe that a society cannot be truly successful with a mentality that every individual should only worry about themselves and in the end things will work out for the best. Giving back to those in need, for whatever reason, is just a small part that each one of us should make time for. Community service is about building a stronger community and supporting those around you - whether on campus, in your neighborhood, city, state, or any other type of community. As successful members of Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, North Carolina, our team has a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. I feel this so strongly that it's been a longstanding practice of mine to not only donate my time, but to encourage and coordinate the efforts of all of those around me.

Remember, community service isn't about padding one's resume, it isn't about doing things so that one might be proud and arrogant about it. It is the dawning realization of understanding our humanity, our fragility and a greater appreciation of the fortunate lives that so many of us lead and deem to be "normal" – when it pretty much is extraordinary in its own respect relative to many other individuals around the world.

Social Media Chicks?

Social media marketing is the process of promoting your site or business through social media channels and it is a powerful strategy that will get you links, attention and massive amounts of traffic.

There is no other low-cost promotional method out there that will easily give you large numbers of visitors, some of whom may come back to your website again and again.

If you are selling products/services or just publishing content for ad revenue, social media marketing is a potent method that will make your site profitable over time.

Those who ignore the efficacy of social media usually fall into three categories; the ones who don’t know much or anything about social media, the ones who are interested but don’t know how to use it and those who don’t believe in the value that a social media strategy can bring to any site or business. Any ecommerce entrepreneur that refuses to see the handwriting on the Facebook Wall and embrace social media marketing is going to be left behind, plain and simple.

Social media marketing and search engine marketing are intertwined to the extent that it would be hard to tell where one begins and the other ends!

Right now, at this very moment, Google is indexing the buzz about your business in real time, which means what is being said by you and/or about you online.

Tweet, you say?  There's no question that Twitter became mainstream in 2009. I won't rehash all of the examples, but suffice it to say that when your local news outlets are suggesting you follow them on Twitter, it's mainstream.

Online video IS the new way. Check. YouTube has started to show some signs of revenue generation, and Hulu was advertised during the Super Bowl. Video became more and more important in 2009.

Customers insist on custoMEr service. Check. More interaction on Facebook pages, Twitter, Get Satisfaction and similar sites has customers looking for solutions wherever they can find it, not just via 800 numbers.

So, don't ignore the Benefits of Using Social Media for Business

A well designed and executed social media marketing campaign can help you achieve some of your most important business goals:

  • Improve your search engine rankings for your main keywords by adding a blog to your Web site and writing regular, search-engine-optimized blog posts that contain your main keywords and well-placed internal links.
  • Increase targeted traffic to your Web site and convert qualified leads into sales. Better rankings in search engines mean more people will find your site through search. These are the people who are actively looking for your solution. Having them land on your site creates an opportunity for you to turn them into leads and customers.
  • Brock MacNeill can help Establish yourself as the leader in your industry and connect with potential clients and customers through wise use of proven social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
